Unlike sutlers who sell ready-made garments (that may or may not be what you're looking for, and may or may not fit correctly), at Behind Enemy Lines Clothiers, no garment is made until it is ordered. This assures you of getting exactly what you want, every time you order.

Long distance fittings can be time consuming, but they are very do-able. Here's how it works........you send me your measurements and design specifications, i.e., pattern, design idea, etc. I make a cotton "fitting muslin" of the bodice and ship it to you. You then try on the muslin, and note any alterations that may be needed (it's also helpful to send me a digital photo, if possible, of you in the muslin), and then you ship the muslin back to me. This is repeated until the muslin is a perfect, then the muslin becomes the pattern for the actual garment. PLEASE NOTE: If you're inexperienced at taking measurements, please seek out someone like a formalwear retailer, or experienced seamstress to do the measures. Your initial fitting muslin is only as good as the measurements supplied to me.
